Couldn't really get to sleep because I took an afternoon nap today so I'm going to use this opportunity to get this off my chest and my mind.
Exactly 3 years ago, someone worked magic from London about this time and claimed back my heart. It was a tumulous reunion with much turmoil and heartbreak upon heartbreak. That sometimes, the wounds in my heart burn afresh remembering what it had gone through.
However, they are all behind me now. There was a point of time I decided to let go of all the hurts in this relationship, get off this emotional roller coaster and make it work. I'm glad I've made this decision and he is such a darling to complemented it with utmost dedication.
Though our characters are miles apart, and sometimes he annoys me beyond my ability, and vice versa, I still love him with all my heart. My heart is filling to the brim of an overflowing love that I'm willing to learn to love the flaws he cannot change and be patient in bringing out the best of him. Likewise, he is equally patient and loving towards me. I'm so glad.
I would love to believe that this wonderful outcome is due to the efforts of two wonderful lovers but I cannot deny attributing all to God. Because I learnt how to be a better woman through His teachings, I was able to gain his devotion. He attends all Sunday services with me and as a result, he has been growing in the knowledge of God's wisdom and love and became a better man and a lover. Because of You. Thank you Lord.
Now, let me close this with a prayer:
May my love for him not exceed beyond my love for You Lord. May his love for me not exceed beyond his love for You Lord. May he learn to love You with such depth and intensity that the fire in his heart will ignite and burn for You one day. May You continue to watch over his heart and in every aspects of his life. Let him know that You are near. May You be his confidence, his confidante and his life support. May You be the centre of our life and relationship because I want us to serve You together Lord. And most of all, please help me be a better daughter, a better woman and a lover so I can continue to be Your partner in making this come true.
