Served on a silver platter

Here I am lying on my bed; thinking of the things I've said and wished unsaid, of the people I have offended and wished they will not bear it to heart---I hope they like me still. Then I thought about it and I reflected; all these don't matter and my words shouldn't be served on a silver platter for all to enjoy. And those who bore grudges against my words even if I should speak in righteousness, should be the least of my thoughts or worry. We come to this planet not to please everyone and I shall take these words to heart: You don't have to be liked to be respected.
