Welcome 2014

On the last day of 2013, after a joyous thanksgiving of what I believed the Lord has given me, I was presented with news that it was soon to be taken away. Definitely not a good way to be welcoming a new year or a birthday.

On the first day of 2014, my mind was caught in between choosing the value of honesty at the expense of a career progression and a heart's desire or an easy but dishonest mean to get out of that situation to get things my way. Definitely not a good way to start a new year or a birthday.

I deliberated for a day. My mind bounced between light and darkness, torn between two extremes. Like they always say, the older the wiser and I had to choose wisely.

So today marks the beginning of my last year in my twenties. I'm starting my year right. I choose honesty. Pray for me. :)
