Pondering on Mother Suu's talk last Sunday. She said, "I never see what I have done for the country as a sacrifice. I made a decision to do it and I stuck with it. It was a decision which I knew that I really want. Therefore, I get very wary when people come up to me and said they have sacrificed a lot for the nation, that they have done this and that. I always wonder their motive and think if they wanted something out of it. So when I said I hope you can come back to Myanmar to contribute, I want you to make that sort of decision. Think if you want it and even if you don't, it's okay; everyone is entitled to decide what is best for themselves. But of course, on saying that, I do want you to come back and help our nation." (She laughed, we laughed)
On that, I wonder... Do I see what I do for the Lord as a sacrifice?
